    Our team of HPCSA registered psychologists are here to assist you with day to day concerns and more long-term challenges.   • Career Assessment & Counselling

    Comprehensive career assessments are offered to members of the public and prospective students for a nominal fee. Career counselling and assessments are offered to registered Humanities students for free.

  • Degree Planning & Academic Support

    Unsure about which courses to select? We will help you explore options in relation to career pathways and degree and curriculum requirements. Specific curriculum information may be accessed from Schools and from the Student Academic Services office.

  • Graduate Recruitment & Part-Time Employment

    Our Career Development Office is your link to the world of work. Be sure to attend the annual Humanities Careers Exhibition and the Graduate Recruitment Day.

  • Development & Psychosocial Workshops

    Workshops aim to develop skills and enhance understanding through group processes and peer interaction. Developmental workshops focus on promoting academic success and include skills development in areas such as time management, goal setting and motivation.

  • Support Groups & Forums

    Support groups and forums are facilitated by our psychologists and are offered on a needs basis to a small group of students who may share similar experiences.

  • Advocacy & Campaigns

    We advocate on behalf of students in special circumstances. We also embark on special campaigns that seek to raise awareness of social and community issues that have a bearing on the well-being of our students.
