Prestigious Music Bursaries for Humanities Students

Nine students from the College of Humanities are proud recipients of the 2018 Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) Bursaries for study in music performance.

The students- Ms Lihle James, Ms Nomfundo Zuma, Mr Nhlakanipho Ngcobo, Ms Gugu Shange, Ms Slindile Dlamini, Ms Yolokazi Maroyana, Ms Nothando Maphumulo, Ms Nosihe Zulu and Ms Nothando Mashaba- each received R12 000 which will go towards University fees for undergraduate students while postgraduate students will use the funding for their research projects.
