Broad objective:

Alert the local authority to the presence of a KhoiSan heritage resource in the area of jurisdiction so as to assist them in developing its educational and tourism potential.

Specific objectives:

-Record present KhoiSan descendants’ creative responses to the place and engravings at Biesje Poort;

-Record as yet the unrecorded KhoiSan rock engravings at the Western site and scattered rock engravings between the Eastern and Western sites, on the Biesje Poort farm Northern Cape.

-Promote nation building through inclusion in the research process of KhoiSan descendants and tertiary youth representative of the cultural diversity of the country and from various geographical areas of the country.
