Recording and dissemination of local historical knowledge, and development of sense of place and role in local history among current participants and future readers

Collaboration with ten high schools

Should lead to one or two SAPSE articles.

Will generate useful information in terms of oral history within schools and as a means for communities to uncover and record their histories. This feeds directly into the purposes of SA’s curriculum, IKS, heritage and local histories and is a key component of Learning Outcome 4 for History.
